Empowering Early-Stage Apprentice Entrepreneur: Julia Rodzik

Julia Rodzik joined the Entrepreneurship Apprenticeship Programme seeking guidance, practical experience, and clarity on how to take her first meaningful steps into the world of business. Like many aspiring young entrepreneurs, Julia had ambition and drive but limited access to networks, mentorship, and real-world exposure.

From the outset, the Mark Williams Foundation worked closely with Julia to understand her personal goals, strengths, and development areas. Rather than applying a standard framework, the Foundation designed a bespoke programme tailored specifically to Julia’s needs. This personalised approach ensured that every element of support aligned with her aspirations and learning style.

Following a structured review of Julia’s progress and the outputs she was working towards, Nicola Williams, Founder of the Foundation, stepped in to provide direct one to one mentoring. Through this enhanced mentorship, Julia received focused guidance, strategic insight, and practical advice designed to build both her capability and confidence.

As part of her journey, Julia has already gained invaluable real-world exposure through visits to Nicola’s businesses. These experiences provided first hand insight into operations, leadership, decision making, and the realities of running and growing a company. For Julia, this access represented an opportunity that would otherwise have been out of reach.

“Without the Foundation, I would never have had access to this level of mentorship, insight, and opportunity. The programme has given me the foothold I needed and has helped me take meaningful steps towards building a future in business.”

The programme has also enabled Julia to participate in a £1,000 investment initiative. Working closely with Nicola, she is developing her understanding of commercial thinking, risk evaluation, and long-term value creation. This practical financial learning component is helping bridge the gap between theory and lived business experience.

Julia is now preparing to attend an upcoming networking event, where she will continue building connections and expanding her understanding of the business landscape. These opportunities are designed not only to educate but to integrate beneficiaries into professional environments that foster growth and confidence.
