Taking on the UAE’s highest mountain in memory of Mark

On Sunday 25 October 2026, Nicola Williams will take on Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, the highest mountain in the United Arab Emirates at 1,934 metres.

Accompanied by an experienced mountain leader, Nicola will take on rugged mountain terrain and challenging desert conditions, carrying the water and supplies she needs throughout the climb.

For Nicola, this challenge is about much more than reaching the summit. It takes place just days before the third anniversary of losing Mark, making it a deeply personal way to honour his memory and continue the legacy that inspired the Mark Williams Foundation.

Through the challenge, Nicola hopes to raise vital funds to help the Foundation continue helping to protect children’s rights to family while empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
